“Poem Study” Op. 7 nr 2
In high summer, I was home to prepare some concert programmes and to complete some compositions. But I thought of a warm sea soaked in sunshine, of its scent and its placid movement, and this brought me back to my teens. The piano writing of this piece describes the wave motion conferring a nostalgic and fancy taste to the whole composition, as I suggested in the opening direction.
