It is a composition with a melancholic character, characterized by a dreamlike “Narrative” melody leading to a theme animated by writing rich in impetuous harmonies. It is a music of great charm and visual suggestions because it was inspired by the energies that emanated in a very beautiful place, an eighteenth-century palace in Sicily, where I found myself contemplating its artistic forms and the frescoes that attract me so much and excite.
