The events that occurred between May and July 1992, or the massacres where the two great martyrs Falcone and Borsellino were killed, have forever marked the souls of us Sicilians. Faced with the greatness and courage of these heroes, who have spent their lives for an ideal of truth and justice, we can only look at them with infinite gratitude and set them as an example for each of us. The piece that I wrote many years after this tragedy, begins with a desolate, heartbroken atmosphere, which recalls the events, but then evolves in the central part in the expression of the strength and courage of these great men who, even if they can having felt a human fear, they left room for the feeling of great intellectual and moral truth, which distinguished them.
